Terms of Service

These Terms of Service describe the fictional Tidecasters storefront and the terms that would govern a production subscription if the described service were activated. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully, respect the rights of creators and third parties, and provide information that is accurate enough to operate an account. Subscriptions. Tidecasters offers monthly plans with a 14-day trial. The plan selected at checkout determines the included podcast count, storage, analytics, commercial permissions, seats, support level, and advertising tools. Prices shown on the storefront are monthly prices in U.S. dollars. A production checkout would display the applicable amount before payment. Automatic renewal. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current monthly price unless cancelled before the next renewal date. A trial converts to the selected paid subscription when the trial ends unless cancelled under the applicable cancellation flow. A production billing account would provide the authoritative renewal date and cancellation controls. Payments. The intended production payment processor is Stripe. This static website does not collect or transmit card details. Any live payment integration would be governed by the payment processor's applicable terms and privacy practices. Content rights. You retain ownership of the shows, recordings, artwork, descriptions, and other material you upload, subject to the limited rights needed to host, store, reproduce, transmit, cache, and display that material for the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and distribute your material. Upload only content you have rights to. This includes music, clips, interviews, artwork, trademarks, and advertising material. Tidecasters does not grant a license to copyrighted music or other third-party material. Prohibited conduct. Do not use the service to distribute unlawful material, infringe intellectual-property rights, impersonate others, interfere with service operation, or attempt to access another user's account. A production service may remove or restrict material when legally required or when necessary to protect the service and its users. Audience growth. Tidecasters hosts your shows but never promises audience growth. No feature, metric, rank, testimonial, or marketing statement should be interpreted as a guarantee of downloads, listeners, revenue, sponsorships, or discovery. Changes and termination. Product features may change. A production service may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations of these terms, subject to applicable law and any required notice. These terms are written for the static Tidecasters demonstration. They should be replaced or supplemented by jurisdiction-specific legal review before a commercial launch.
